IPENZ Foundation Scholarships for Study in Universities of New Zealand, New Zealand

If you would like to study in Universities of New Zealand, New Zealand and pursue Full Time Undergraduate Program in Engineering you can avail IPENZ Foundation Scholarships which is being offered by the IPENZ Foundation.

This is a Undergraduate Program Merit Based Scholarship and students are eligible from National Students to apply for the same. Only 12 such awards are being offered and the deadline for application is 31 October 2016.

This Scholarship will offer you:-

  • Up to five national scholarships at $4000 each
  • Up to eight regional scholarships at $4000 each for Complete Course Duration.

Eligibility:IPENZ Foundation Engineer’s National Scholarship for BE or BE (Hons): The IPENZ Foundation Engineer’s National Scholarship is available to students that will be studying for a four-year Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree.IPENZ Foundation Engineer’s National Scholarship for Bachelor of Engineering Technology Degree: The IPENZ Foundation Engineer’s National Scholarship is available to students that will be studying for a three-year Bachelor of Engineering Technology degree.IPENZ Foundation Regional Scholarship: The regional scholarship is available to those located in the following branch regions: Hawke’s Bay, Nelson-Marlborough, Otago, South Canterbury, Tauranga, and West Coast.

To apply for the above scholarship / award / grant you should submit the following documents and should possess the following:

Required Materials:-

  • Essay – Write a 500-800 word personal statement detailing why you want to be an engineer. In the paper include your specific interests, experiences, and goals as they relate to your current interest in engineering and how it could shape your future career path
  • Curriculum Vitae – Most recent NCEA/CIE/Baccalaureate exam results (applicants will be asked to update their application with their final exam results in January)

Once all the information has been received by the IPENZ Foundation and the assessment of the submitted documents is complete, you will be informed about your selection in the same.
